Melody Jane is an in-your-face Neo-Burlesque performer that combines storytelling, song, dance, and strip to create works that harken back to New York's gritty past. Her smart, strong, and comical acts that have been hailed as “astonishing” (nerve.com).
She has participated in New York International Fringe Festival, The New Yorker's Arts Festival, and the New York Burlesque Festival.

One of Melody's signature acts, Under Pressure explores the expression of gender and sexuality, as well as the journey toward self-acceptance of one's body. The piece speaks to the larger issue of binary gender and feminine expectations. This act was featured in the 2015 New York Burlesque Festival.
